Oh no, Valentine’s day is tomorrow. Do I have a Valentine? Nope. But that’s alright. My plan is to get my mother something nice, and not worry about other women in my life!
So I’m laying around in bed and a Brighthouse cable commercial comes on. It’s a commercial so I’m not really paying attention to it, however, I could hear a song in the background that I’d never heard before. Not only had I never heard the song, but I was definitely grooving to it.
I mean, a cable commercial of all things. Kind of a random place to find some new music, but I guess stranger things have happened.
Like, many apple product commercials feature music that people stumble upon and enjoy. But a cable commercial? It’s just strange to me.
Anyway the song I heard was “You’ll Never Go” by Wake Owl.
I’ve never heard of this band. I’ve also not even listened to any of their other music. I will say that they have a similar sound to The Mowgli’s, or to pick a more mainstream band, Mumford and Sons. Although it’s strange, I’m not really a Mumford fan.
